metamorphosis originates from the greek words meta ('beyond' or 'change') and morphe ('form' or 'shape'). the biological process is often attributed to a transformation from ugly to beautiful, but growth is rarely ever so linear and beauty never so easily obtained. take us through your transformation, butterfly. we want to know about your process, not the end result. tell us about every gut-wrenching thing you've gone through. but in the end, was it worth it? who were you before? who have you become? in other words, who are you now?
